Think and Grow Rich - Over 80 Million Copies Sold

This edition of Napoleon Hill's Classic Think and Grow Rich is a reproduction of Napoleon Hill's personal copy of the first edition, the ONLY original version recommended by The Napoleon Hill Foundation, originally printed in March of 1937。

The most famous of all teachers of success spent "a fortune and the better part of a lifetime of effort" to produce the "Law of Success" philosophy that forms the basis of his books and that is so powerfully summarized and explained for the general public in this book。

In Think and Grow Rich, Hill draws on stories of Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and other millionaires of his generation to illustrate his principles。 This book will teach you the secrets that could bring you a fortune。 It will show you not only what to do but how to do it。 Once you learn and apply the simple, basic techniques revealed here, you will have mastered the secret of true and lasting success。

Money and material things are essential for freedom of body and mind, but there are some who will feel that the greatest of all riches can be evaluated only in terms of lasting friendships, loving family relationships, understanding between business associates, and introspective harmony which brings one true peace of mind! All who read, understand, and apply this philosophy will be better prepared to attract and enjoy these spiritual values。

BE PREPARED! When you expose yourself to the influence of this philosophy, you may experience a CHANGED LIFE which can help you negotiate your way through life with harmony and understanding and prepare you for the accumulation of abundant material riches。

Timeless, stunning book。 Unbelievable to think it was written in 1937。 If you apply these principles you are bound to experience positive and beneficial experiences。 Will you get rich? Well,I suppose that will depend on your definition of rich。 Being rich isn’t just about the number in your bank account 😉

Dry, long, kooky at many times, and seems like a simple “I’ve already heard that” message, but still enjoyed the many repetitions and messages about mindset, purpose, and taking control of your life。 I honestly wanted to rate this book lower just because of how boring and long it felt to get through but I’d have a hard time saying there isn’t honestly really good information in it。

First of all, I'm glad that I read the Nilkhet copy (local 1。2$) of this book- which saved me my money。Secondly, I think the author wrote this book because he had to。 Only 5% of the total book contained any valuable information, advice, etc。 The real-life examples author provided in this book just to 'motivate' readers have been applied in the wrong way。 Simply put, the author took some real-life short incidents of some remarkable people- i) without further reference to the incidentii) explained First of all, I'm glad that I read the Nilkhet copy (local 1。2$) of this book- which saved me my money。Secondly, I think the author wrote this book because he had to。 Only 5% of the total book contained any valuable information, advice, etc。 The real-life examples author provided in this book just to 'motivate' readers have been applied in the wrong way。 Simply put, the author took some real-life short incidents of some remarkable people- i) without further reference to the incidentii) explained the reason behind it from only his POVThird and the final reason why you shouldn't read this book anymore is that this book was written in 1937。 Current world affairs and situations don't even apply to the author's mindset。 Also, the author felt he must write everything in this goddamn book to make it heavier and he did。Bottom line, don't just read it。 If you want to, just read these pages: Page 18, 72, 75, 84, 111, 249。 。。。more

Couldn’t finish it。 For a moment I believed in the system he proposes: to generate a burning desire to get the things you want and the universe will give it to you。 I like the idea of a Universal Intelligence which cooperates you and certainly Napoleon doesn’t mean any harm with his statements, he even talks about always being fair to people and not stepping over others。 There’s a positive intention in this book。But I don’t believe that getting obsessed with something, and specially money is a g Couldn’t finish it。 For a moment I believed in the system he proposes: to generate a burning desire to get the things you want and the universe will give it to you。 I like the idea of a Universal Intelligence which cooperates you and certainly Napoleon doesn’t mean any harm with his statements, he even talks about always being fair to people and not stepping over others。 There’s a positive intention in this book。But I don’t believe that getting obsessed with something, and specially money is a good idea。 The Universal Intelligence I believe in will grant you some things but not all of them, it really isn’t all because of your actions。 We don’t control it all。 So an obsession will lead in many cases to disappointment and unhappiness。 Maybe it’s what some people need at the moment of reading but I hope the author talks about also learning to set a limit。 Learning to say “okay, this is enough money or success, time to just enjoy”。 The author also seems to be a big believer in meritocracy。 Which I don’t agree with at all。 People odiously don’t have the same chances in life。 Then he proceeds to talk about how great is America and how everyone can make it there if they want to。Anyway, I hope I didn’t miss any piece of great knowledge。 。。。more

In my opinion, one can find here some ideas that are OK, but most of the content as we say in Lithuanian language is "pouring from empty to holey", in other words, lots of bullshit。 In my opinion, one can find here some ideas that are OK, but most of the content as we say in Lithuanian language is "pouring from empty to holey", in other words, lots of bullshit。 。。。more

One the most profound books I have ever read。 A slow start but worth plugging through

One of the worst books I have ever read。 First, I am not a big fan of his writing style。 Second, I strongly disagreed with some of his statements。 Third, there is no clear plan / advice to follow, rather a lot of statements and stories。 For me it is mind blowing how much success this book has gained。

A great booking for setting goals, helping you stick to them。 I disagree with the idea you need to define your goals and never waver from them, especially being a young person I think it’s best to be a generalist and define your goals after your experienced some different areas。 The section about sex energy was very interesting, I don’t disagree with what he was saying but it came across as too metaphysical and lacking in actual evidence to support the claim。

Nice read。。。Gives you motivation。。。But I felt it is more about motivation and deals less with thinking

Sharon

It kept me as interested as any of my favorite books so far in the selfhelp and nonfiction genres。
